NEWBRIDGE OUTING JUNE 2014
We visitied Royston Pitch & Putt Club for our second outing of 2014 and the Newbridge venue provided us with a great day's play. The course has always been tricky but fair and most of the members enjoyed the variety of hole set-ups as well as the good weather we had all day. The food, staff and facilities were all top class and we were really made welcome in the venue. Best on the day was Mrtin O'Byrene with two rounds of 58 and 56. Close behind was Elaine Jackson and Don O'Sullivan. All three are now heading to the Handicap doctor to take their medicine. Best visitor was The Albion international member, Anne Bowden - her practice round in Elm Hall the previous day standing her in good stead. No hole in one so it's a rollover till the Captain's Outing. |
