A great day weather-wise up at Bellewstown for the first outing of the 2016 season. The course was really enjoyable and in great shape. Even the pond of death proved to be in good form - most of our efforts to cross it had a positive outcome. Best on the day was Eamonn Lynch - a very popular winner. Marty came in secomd with Briqan Carpenter third. Top visitor wqas Kevin Byrne.
Our new Captain, Christy Clarke did the honours and presented all the prizes. Thanks go to the committee who organised everything to a fine tee for us - it really did allow us all to enjoy a super day out.
It was also nice that we made it back to the Speaker's Bar in time for a swift beverager before closing time.
